I’ve been in your spot before. Wanting to grow a company, and needing to do it digitally. After being taken for a ride by a big marketing company (they’re NASDAQ listed) and seeing my revenue take a dive, I decided to take it upon myself to learn as much as I could about Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, and to a lesser extent Facebook Ads. After applying my knowledge of Google Ads to my company for many years, I decided to formally train and expand into helping others increase their customers via Google advertising.
After nearly 10 years of owning that brick and mortar company, I ended up selling and moving on to freelance full-time. Prior to owning my own company, my background was in data management and analysis, in health research and epidemiology at two of Queensland’s largest universities. The combination of business and data experience creates an interesting Venn diagram in which I now operate.
